Marriages using Utah County marriage licenses must be solemnized by an authorized officiant who is physically present in the State of Utah at the time of the solemnization.
Under Utah law, this includes individuals authorized by a religious denomination, certain public office holders (such as Judges, Mayors, or State Legislators) specifically listed in Utah Code 81-2-305, or designees of the County Clerk. The designees listed here are not employed by or affiliated with the Utah County Marriage License Office. Contact them directly to discuss scheduling and fees.
